I have a 95 mustang gt. When I got it it had no keys. Just a key fob. I changed the ignition lock cylinder so that I have a key now. I also took door lock out got locksmith to make a key so now I have door that open. The problem now is the car cranks when trying to start but won't start. I have a anti theft module in trunk that starts clicking after I stop trying to start it. Any ideas? I know it's a long answer do you need more info? Thanks for asking to help

Two relatively easy places to start...there is a 20 amp EEC fuse in the engine compartment fuse box. check to see if it is blown. If you have a probe, check for 12 volts at the red wire on the fuel injectors. There is also a 20 amp fuse in the interior fuse box (fuse #18, IIRC) you can check. I can't recall if these cars had a security key or not. If that is the case, It may call for a trip to the dealer.

Welcome. If memory serves me right 95 didn’t have chipped keys. Can you post a pic of the anti theft module?

That is interesting. I’m not really sure what the heck that module would do.
