Hello guys and gals
Hello, Just wanted to say hello and introduce myself here. Starting with my priorities I drive a mid 10 sec 1966 Acadian. Boo you say? Well one of my other project cars is a 65 mustang fastback. This summer I did a major overhaul on the drivetrain installing a new 350 horse 302. I rebuilt the c-4 and installed a 2800stall convertor. I also rebuilt the posi and installed a new set of 3.9:1 gears. Now it is fun to beat on. The only draw back is the brakes. I bought a set of baer brakes for it and found out when I got them that I had to put larger wheels on the car. So before I spend any more money on this car I have to sell these brake. I took them out of the boxs to inspect them and to take pics for e-bay. Anyway, this isn't a classified add
so I will move on. Glad to be here and look forward to chatting about mustangs and all their glory.

Welcome!!!
I drove an accadian 1 winter years ago as a beater...it was also a mid 10 second car...took at least that to start it
sounds like you have some fun toys...post up some pics when you get a chance and maybe some details to what makes the accadian go like stink!!!

Hey sorry I missed this.
Welcome to the site.
I had a '78 Chevette as a winter car YEARS back.
The only way it would be a 10 second car is if I pushed it off a cliff.
Was GREAT on gas and a blast to drive in the snow. I never got stuck.
Tho, thinking back if I did, I could probably just pick it up to move it.
The fastest I ever got it was drafting an 18 wheeler on hwy 401, think we got up to 110km/hr. Breaking off that draft was scary.
I got a kick out of the LONG shifter on it too.
