Hello from Mississauga!
Hey guys,
Picked up an 86 GT last June.
I've had a few bumps along the way, but hope to have it on the road this summer.
I have a 2010 WRX as the somewhat daily (although my wife and I car pool together into work and use her car) and a 1968 Plymouth Road Runner.
Someone has put a LX bumper, and LX seats on the Mustang, as well as some of the interior panel's and the weather stripping are starting to show their age.
My goal is to bring it back to a somewhat stock car (proper seats for example).
Sort of how it would of been modified back in the fox era.
Here are a few shots of the Mustang and the Road Runner:
Thanks for having me!

Thanks guys!!
Thanks!
It's actually a grey interior that's been dyed black.
I want to replace everything with black pieces, including the carpet, as it was also dyed black, and done while in the car by the looks of it.
The seats are still grey, but are the pre 87 LX seats, as seen here:
Best picture I have of the fronts:
Needs a headliner, and the door panels are just flapping around at the bottoms of the doors.
Back in Sept the cars gear drive let go and took the engine with it.
So, the car has been at a shop since, and is getting a new engine put in.
This cost will be slowing down the rest of the progress.
I might be interested in the interior if it's black? I have an 88LX with the red interior and it's faded over time. Would like to eventually swap out all the red and install new black carpet and seats as well as door panels. All in due time of course, this all costs Mulla! lol Let me know when you plan on making your changes.
