Hello there!

Yes, I am aware of the fact that this site is the Canadian Mustang Owners Club, and also that I am driving an 04 Elantra GT 5-door.

I joined after finding the forum on stumble upon.

I am planning on owning a Mustang very very soon! I finish first year college in the spring and after working in the factory, I WILL have a fox this summer

I also joined because I figured that seeing as how many of you know 'stangs inside and out, I can get some good advice by clicking around and asking too!

Cheers!

Welcome. Not all of started with Pony's. My first car was an 82 Grand Prix. I could have started with an 82 pony but sooner or later you learn to want a Mustang

I've owned a 83 Grand Prix, it was a fun car. Enjoyed it, even though it didn't stay around long

Hahah. Well I'm not really complaining about the car, just throwing it out there right off the bat so I wouldn't get flamed later on. I just pictured in my head someone asking me what kind of pony I had, then I had to tell them that I was driving a Korean compact car.

I just finished fixing up my buddies 83 GP [well ok, it was 5 months ago =p] It was a V6 and his mom used to drive it to work every day.

We posted an ad on kijiji and we had 4 potential buyers in 30 minutes!

All we had to do [to sell it] was get it to run, but we did some more just experimenting and building up skill and experience. Minor stuff, mind you because we were fixing it up before either of us were in the autotech program. Anyways, for those of you who drove carb cars, you know how cool/powerful/dangerous ether is. It's your best friend!

well, seeing as how I was born in 88, I was hoping to find a 88 LX or GT. But I'm not gonna be all girly about the year of the car. I want it to be fuel injected, V8 and preferably the 5.0 HO.

When I do get the scratch [or a loan] I'm definately going to have to ask around some more about what to look out for.
