Hey Guys

Hi Guys, just joined. I'm from Ontario. I have a 67 coupe that my Dad and I restored over the winter. Looking to convert it into a 5 speed over the winter and to put power steering on it. here's a picture of it.

cheers, Trev C

I just put a T5 in my 67 Fastback last winter and I'm putting in power R&P this coming winter.

very nice, how do you find the 5 speed? Right now i have a 3 speed standard, not so much fun. Did you go with the original bellhousing or the T5? Where did you buy the conversion kit from as well? Do you have any pictues of your fastback?

Trev

Hi Trev,

I love the 5 speed especially since I have 411 gears (originally had a 4sp). It is so much fun to drive around town and on the highway now. I went with the T5 bellhousing and cable clutch conversion with roller bearing from Mustang Steve. As for the T5 conversion, I went with the MD crossmember and I have no drive line angle issues at all.

If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask.

Scott

i work out of woodstock driving dump truck, live in london, driving a dark green 96 v6 that's currently in the mech's shop, bone stock with the stock rims on it until next spring, i've hauled for a couple weeks out of the Bright pit, the first time i went through that road to the south of Bright was at 4am pitch black with my truck....i almost needed a new pair of shorts
hope to see you around town next year and maybe at the wednesday night cruise in's at A&W
