I have to agree with Snakebite....wax and more wax is your best friend. Meguairs claybar system is even better. Don't forget the microfiber towels. Meguairs Products is a good choice.

Yeah microfiber towels are ok, but the most important thing, is the choice of wax and products. The #1 rule is to stay away from silicone products, and the #2 rule is don't cheap out, if you want a good result, you need to spend some cash, and a good product is going to cost you about 3-4 times as much, as the cheap brands. Anyway, if your serious about waxing, polishing and detailing, you need to get a copy of the book titled "A Complete Car Care Guide for Auto Enthusiasts and Detailing Professionals" by Don Taylor

This is a must, and you know it's a good book, when there's a Mustang on the cover right.
