hi

well hi to every one my name is mike and i own two mustangs my first was the 1982 ttop 3 door fast back still have it and drive it every day love the car and the looks and ? i get when i have the ttops off i always get asked if they are factory and they are of course thats what sold me on the car it has a straight 6 in it and im told that there is a tubular cross member that will alow me to bolt in a v8 with out doing any cutting or grindig ( the cross member is made by i do believe api raceing for 650.00 $ ) its a nice stang needs paint that will come next year nice rims and tires put the rear spoiler on my self and it needs a hood scoop and body kit to complete the look on the out side the interior i swaped the red for gray and put in a center consol ( front only so far ) its hard to find plastic in good shape { the dash swap was fun let me tell ya } my second stang is a 1979 ghia 3 door fast back with the 5.0 in it ( payed 500.00$ for it at a junk yard ) its in good shape runs drives and has nice rims and a bra (the #4 cylinder has no compression so it runs rough ) the interior is in good shape ( except for the head linner ) has cruse and air think i got a good deal ? well thats me rapped up as tight as i can i love these cars and plan on keeping them for as long as i can and to collect several more the ttop car is going to be my show car some day show quallity and style is my goal thanks for letting me join this forum took foward to hearing your responces thanks in advance mike 82ttop

whats wrong with the ttop cars in my views they look meaner they have to weigh a little less if your refering to the body twist that can be fixed veary easy so what is your problem with them exactly

Welcome. My wife and I have said many times if we were to win the lotto we would retire to Seaside Oregon. I am not sure if you are familiar with this town or how close you are to it. I think he might be against t-tops as they can leak.

That's a good choice. My roommate in the army had a new 82gt and a friend had an 83 gt. They were both nice. Ever been to Seaside. We went through 14 years ago so I think it has probably grown somewhat.
