Just bought my vehicle yesterday.
I've wanted a Mustang for a long time now. I've had two Camaros and enjoyed them, and still own a 2000 Z28 convertible. However, my true love has been the Mustang. Today I took the plunge and got a 2016 GT Premium drop top with the 401A option package. Had to pay extra for the colour...ruby red metallic cc, and also got the premier trim package in red and black. It did not sound too attractive, but once I saw it, it had to be mine. I agonized over getting an automatic or not, but decided on the auto. My days of rowing across town are over. I decided to get the windows tinted medium tint. It does help in the summer, and the guys/girls next to you at the stoplights cannot see your eyes to see if you are going to launch aggressively. ( I must always be first away from the lights!) I have had trouble doing that since I traded in my Lincoln Town Car ( 2007 with 64 000KM on it) for the Mustang. Loved the Townie, but you cannot spend your whole life sitting behind a hood ornament. Going to be a BIG change. Only .3 L difference in motor size. I wonder if I can tell?

Thanks for all the good wishes. Here are some pics.
No matter where I looked on the net, the red and black seats looked very orange to me. (Orange you glad they are not purple?) Even the dealer brochures. Therefore I was quite reluctant to look at a ruby red with orange upholstery. It is RED inside. My pics make it look orange too. I was using a cell phone of course. The vehicle was in the showroom. That is a major turn off for me. The customers and their children are there to buy trucks and sedans, but they run to the showroom rag tops and crawl all over them. Usually eating sticky candy! I did find that the car had been in the showroom for two days, so that did not upset me too much. Here are the pics of the ruby red GT with red interior (orange). Enjoy!
