Mark G.

Hey! I'm new to this, I was on the site last weekend and just had some time to get back (remembered how to get here, not really computer savvy!LOL) I'm curious to know if anyone has some info of what I can do (bolt on stuff) to improve the performance of my Mustang. It's a 1988 GT 100% original,41000km...original everything. I don't want to mess with it too much...

Mark

There's tons of stuff that you can do to improve your performance.
Check out some websites like steeda.ca, americanmuscle.com, they have everything you could need. What are you looking to do, make a street car or drag strip car?

Exhaust would probably be the best place to start and some 3.73 gears wouldn't hurt either

Welcome!!
Good place to start is...
...aftermarket shifter, this will pro long the life of the syncro's in your trans if you have the mannual t-5 five speed.
...3.55, or 3.73 gears, depends on what your plans are
...sub frame connectors to aid the flexible chassis
...an aftermarket exhaust system like a highflow catted x, or h pipe, and cat back (mufflers with flow tubes, and tailpipes as a bolt in kit)
...suspension aslways another good place to improve on with struts, and springs, ects...
