My first Mustang

My first Mustang
We just took ownership of a 2002 Mustang GT convertible 5 spd.
We bought it from a nice retired couple who weren't driving it enough. Only 64,400 km's on the odometer.
After our first weekend, we've already cruised the Niagara Parkway (both directions) and have been kept busy giving rides to family and friends. Everyone loves the Mustang.
We couldn't be happier with our decision. My high school dreams coming true.
It's not a mid-life crisis (as some have suggested ). It's our delayed reward for being responsible, working hard, and taking care of our family. Now it's our turn to have some fun!
Good times ahead!

Got the same reaction from different people when I bought my 2005 at age 52 and 2007 at age 61. I had the same attitude as yours that both Mustangs are the result of hard work being responsible and a reward for putting up with a lot of life's nonsense. Congrats on your ride.

Thanks for the welcome. I've already ordered my first accessory, a new shift ****.
We're leaving on vacation soon, and I can't wait to get back to start working on the car.
Next summer, look out, I'll be everywhere!

Thanks. i'll start on some mods over the winter. I'll probably use the same strategy as modifying my m/c : anytime a part wore out, broke, got damaged or went on sale, I'd replace it with a new part that made the bike faster, shinier or more comfortable. Slow and steady....
