sup snakebite, I had the same luck with my SRT4 04,not a single ding/blemish till another stone ended that awesome streak, not that it was bad, but it was there staring at me every time I washed/ waxed it till finally I gave in and repaired it using my approach to repairing paint gouges ( which is what a stone chip causes)... by the time I finished it I seriously could not find it if I tried.
A close buddy of mine had dropped by while I was doing it and asked me if I could do his "few" stone chips on his hood... LOL more like why don't we just repaint your hood man, his not only was dinged all over but somehow ended with serious road rash in the fascia... we ended up doing his whole front end, with a total 6 paint step and 4 clear coats,up to now, his front end still looks awesome.
a lot of paint problems are the direct result of what auto manufacturers feel "ample" paint application, usually 2 color and 2 clear, and always too thin for my liking.
Back to the GT mustang; part of the deal and package was a set of 16" snow tires/steelies, but I am seriously considering garaging the stang and running the SRT4 with it's winter rubber, front wheel drive with good tires are awesome in the winter, and the srt4 is LONG paid off lol
The one exception is I have to lower boost to a sensible 8/10 psi instead of the current 23/24 pressure threshold.
I just hate the thought of driving my new ride in all the salt
laden snow!

Wow! Thats a pretty sexy looking ride that you have there!! Do like it.
The only thing that I'm not feeling on it, or really ANY 11+ Mustang is the rims. I don't think I'll ever understand what the big wigs at Ford were thinking!
Welcome :)

We are all different which is good because I actually like the rims but have heard some that do not like them. If they are not liked by the owner the aftermarket is loaded with different types for everyone:tup
