Welcome aboard and enjoy all the work ahead. 25 years is a nice career, how long until retirement.

Ssp

SSP " Special Service Package " . It came out in 1982- to 1993 Mustangs. The Camaro had a SSP option as well coded B4C on the build sheets. The SSP changed from year to year and some other options were available as well. Additional Oil cooler, transmission coolers, re-inforced floor pan ( drivers side for fat cops or hard shifting) trunk release on the left side of the dash instead of inside the glove box. Single key for ignition/doors/ trunk. Life time silcone ( Blue ) hoses, certified 140 MPH speedo, radio delete, full size spare and a whole bunch more. Not much different to the drive train from stock that I know of, some people think there is.

I am still looking for the build sheets, but none so far. I have found buck tags on the rad support ( metal tags with instructions for the factory assembly line) for special instructions during assembly, paint & equipment.
