New and excited

New to the site! From BC, and looking to purchase an 88 mustang lx 5.0.
Just have a couple questions. I know a 302 puts out alot of horses, and the weight of the fox body mustangs is real light. I have limited experience driving a v8 and have only had my license for about a year and a bit. If i was to drive respectfully and responsibly would it be an issue? because ive heard some concern from my old man about it and around about the car. Im not an idiot and i know the consequences of driving like one, and frankly i have no one to impress.any feedback would help thanks.

Welcome, don't worry about a thing. As long as you drive normal you will be fine. Just keep the gas pedal off the floor.

You so have the right attitude! Don't be frightened. With a great car it is so possible to be responsible and to have fun! Good luck, it sounds like your old man doesn't have to worry!,

Welcome to the site, lets see some pictures of the LX

Tell your dad to take you to some back roads or a parking lot so you can let it hang and understand the type of machine you're dealing with
