New Gal...

Hi, my name is Patty and Saturday I brought home a 2011 GT, Red Candy Metallic. You could say this has been 30 years coming. My first Mustang was a '72 Mach I that my boyfriend bought for me in 1981. The love started there.....the car and the guy. :D

We got the basic model with the intention of dressing her up...the only option seems to be the 19 in. painted luster-nickel wheels. I've been reading through the show and shine threads and looking at reader's rides, hoping to learn more about different styling and reputable products.

I'm so excited to have this car it's probably sickening to the average person. :) I absolutely love the sound when I turn the key! Makes me smile every time!

Welcome aboard and the madness...there are many reputable after market dealers out there. (American Muscle, Moss Mustang, Steeda...) just to name a couple.

Once you start modding the insanity will never stop. lol

firstday65 02-16-2011 11:37 AM

May see you around the local shows here..

Red Pony 02-16-2011 07:28 PM

I really love the black. In fact, the first stang we went to see was black, but it was already sold by the time we got there. And lets face it, if you see a really sick black Mustang with a girl driving, what is your first thought?

Ronnie....the funds usually thrown at the boat will be coming this way this year :tup

firstday....would be great to get to a couple shows this summer. Are there any out this way?

firstday65 02-17-2011 06:56 AM

They have the apple blossem festival here in Colborne in may i think, and there is another in Brighton in september and i think they have ones in bellevill as well too,,

Belleville has some sort of show-n-shine every week in the Zellers parking lot. I'll have to keep my ears open for the one in Brighton. Will you send more details about the one in Colborne when it gets closer?

roddy 02-25-2011 12:42 AM

Hi Patty. Welcome to the site. I am from the County as well (Hillier). Zellers in Belleville is on Tuesday evenings, and Picton has a small cruise-in at Canadian Tire on Thursday evenings.

SNAKEBITE 02-25-2011 04:25 PM

I live for cruise in as they keep the car clean re cruises lol

Red Pony 02-27-2011 11:39 AM

Thanks Roddy, I couldn't remember the day of the week for both. I might have to stop by on my way home for work.
