New Guy

Hello,

Just registered with your forum and looking forward to learning about my car. Just purchased a 2007 GT convertible Grabber Orange 5 speed. Today I installed a Blue Ox kit so that I can tow it behind my motor home. I haven't had a performance vehicle for several years and this is bringing back the kid in me. I can see now that I should have bought an extra set of tires though.

My wife is taking it to work tomorrow so once I get it back and wash it I will post a few pics. This car is so much fun neither of us wants to drive the Tahoe anymore.

Is this your first Mustang or have you owned one before? I bought my first stang 13 years ago and I've been hooked ever since.

This is my first Mustang but I got hooked when I seen my brother's white GT convertible that he bought last year. I was looking to trade my wife's 05 Grand Prix GT for something that I could tow and came across this beauty. When I was a kid my Uncle from St. Thomas Ont. bought a black 64-1/2 with a three speed and six banger. I called him to say that I bought a Mustang and he said that he wished that he had kept his first one. I have only had this car for three weeks and have added the K&N air intake kit along with Cherry Bomb axle backs. It seems that it works even better but I'm not sure if it added any HP.

We have had our motor home for a while now and had been towing my Tahoe lately. I wanted something lighter to tow behind me so that's how the Mustang came into play. Incidentally a friend has recently purchased the twin to yours in a convertible model and he loves it. I'm now just learning how many Mustang owners are out there and how tight the group actually is. I can see that this is going to be a great forum to exchange info and conversations with.

Thanks for joining. We are trying to build this site up and with your/other members help we hope to have the best site period. I know most of the Calgary guys on this board meet every Wed night for many hours of talking/viewing of approx 2--300 cars at one of our local malls. Your input is greatly appreciated

You are too far away for me to join everyone at the mall but at least I can keep up to date on line. My brother was working at the dealership where I bought my car and he was the one who installed the roll bar and stripe package when it was new. He installed all of stripe kits and ground effects kits on the Mustangs while he was there so he is now my unofficial go to guy. He was telling me of all the neat stuff that is available for the car and I'm quite excited about adding some things. The wife may shut me down pretty soon though as she thinks I'm into my second childhood now. The only thing is she may be right.
