Thx for replies. Have proceeded with purchase and now am proud owner of 2012 Shelby GT500. Now how to get it from southern USA to Edmonton in middle of winter. May store it down there and drive it up in spring. Any other Shelby owners who drive their vehicle in winter with advice? Eg: store it, put winter tires on it, pay commercial car hauler etc.
Anyone crazy enough to drive this type of car in the winter? :)
Sandbags and snow tires, keep the foot off the go pedal and you'll be good. It's just a car - you paid good money, get out there and drive it !!! Let's be honest, any money you saved on price will be wasted paying someone to store it in the US. Why bother to buy if you're going to let it just sit there unattended in another country, waiting for vandals or thieves ? Not trying to be all negative dude, but sometimes I don't follow the line of thought too well. Grats on the buy BTW, that's some serious hardware.
