New Guy.....Well Kinda ;)

hey guys, ive actually been a member of the site for awhile but havent posted in a long time. I'm from London and im actually in the process of looking for a new toy and a Mustang is pretty high on my list

im looking at both the '99-'04 body style as well as the newer '05 + and was wondering if someone could give me some advice as to some pros and cons of the different body styles/engines.

whatever Mustang i end up buying will be getting either supercharged or turboed very soon after i buy it since im a forced induction freak.....having owned a few in my past including a '02 Camaro SS Procharged and a Grand Prix GTP that was turboed with a single PT-61 turbo.

that being said, which car would hold up best to the extra power? im currently looking at a 2005 Redfire GT 5 spd with 40,000kms on it.....are there options/things i should be checking when i go to drive this car?

thanks for the help guys i appreciate it, cheers

Dustin

Welcome aboard and for me I pick the 05+. Nicer looking more stock power etc.. There is a tsb for the gas tank and upper strut on 05's so see if this has been taken care of. Good luck with the choice. Oh I have had a 99gt and I still pick the 05

Welcome back.
As for choice on style. They both have they goods, and bads, and styling is a personal choice.
But right now you can get a '99 to '04 at a decent price. So price is another factor.
