I talked to Gary at roadrumble on Jacobs Terrace but nothing set yet. Where did you get your bodykit? I've been looking on net & pricing not bad, not sure about shipping.
Thinking of selling your 17's? I'm in south end, off Big Bay Pt Rd Jim

Hey Jim,

I picked up the Saleen kit from Stage 3 Motorsports in Phoenix, Arizona (www.Stage3Motorsports.com). You can find the kit for your 2000 here: http://www.stage3motorsports.com/pro...Kit-wWing.html

Stage 3 Motorsports sells genuine Saleen urethane parts - not cheap immitation parts. Shipping to Canada is quite reasonable and comes via truck. Stage 3 pays all the duties and fees so the price you're quoted is the price you pay. I've dealt with them A LOT and have always been pleased with the products and service. Give Bill a call - he'll take care of you.

I had one of the Mustangs painted at South Barrie Collision Centre (http://www.southbarriecollision.com/) - the one in the V6 build thread. I did it in matte black - they did a fantastic job. They really went above and beyond. You should give Greg over there a call - he's a fellow Mustang fanatic and really goes above and beyond to get you exactly what you're looking for - and their facility is second to none. Tell him Alex sent you.

As for the rims - yea, they will totally be for sale - but not yet, I've got to wait for the new rims and rubber to arrive. I'll let ya know once there good to go. The rims were just powdercoated this past summer and they only have 10 km on them. The rubber is almost new - 2 years old but less than 500 km on them. I won't be asking much - I've got no room for them in the garage.

Have any mods already been done on the 2000?

Alex

Thanks again Alex. My idea was a 67 Mustang but too much of a leap. This 2000 v6 came up in the late fall & just enough time to safety, about 100k & store it. Put magnaflow dual exhaust & K&N air filter. I've got a 93 old cutlass supreme convertible few years but roof & paint tired but it is not as much fun as a Mustang. If you hear of anyone looking for an Olds project...mechanically certificable, $ not much. Jim

hey snakebite .... you mean the 93 olds as a batmobile? Perfect car for retirees in Florida. I got it on a place/time thing - $2500 certified convertible. Just can't get inspired to do anything with it... growing up to a Mustang...
