Hello my mustang brothers,
I just struck a deal yesterday for my very first mustang. I bought a 2015 Ecoboost 2.3L coupe. I will receive the delivery for my car this coming Thursday and I am beyond excited and cannot wait for the big day to come. I have always been a mustang fan since I was a little kid with posters on my wall, desktop wallpapers and all
The reasons I did not buy a V8 were 1. More expensive: As I am a recent graduate I am part of the huge student debt repayment club too. I managed to fit the ecoboost in my budget though.
2. Daily driver: I am going to be daily driving my mustang to work and all my chores. So it will be out there in the harsh winters of Ontario, I am not too excited about it but I am going to get the best winter tires out there and be as safe as possible.
I welcome any tips and suggestions from current ecoboost or any other mustang owners. Look forward to be a part of this community.
Cheers

Thanks def67! I don't have the picture of my mustang yet as it will be on their lot on Thursday. I test drove a different colour though, The red one on the right in this picture. I opted for a black one
It is a base mustang as I did not feel the need for the bells and whistles.

Welcome, and congrats on the new ride. The EcoBoost is going to be the one to watch...minor bolt-ons (intake/cat-back/downpipe and tune) are showing impressive gains. It's the one I'd buy.
Consider Bridgestone Blizzaks for winter tires. Mount them on the smallest diameter wheel you can fit on the car. Dry handling may go for a bit of a ****, but it will be worth it when you make it to work intact every morning.

Thanks everyone! I will be taking plenty of pics for sure and ill share em with you guys.
Thanks Roddy. I will definitely do that. I have heard good things about the blizzaks and michelin x ice.
I had one doubt, what is the best way to protect paint from rust and salt stains? Is any of that needed or not? They offered me some paint and rust protection at the dealership and i declined coz it sounded like a moneygrab sales pitch.
