New to the site- 67 mustang coupe

Hi guys!

I'm new to the forum world and new to the mustang world as well. I bought a 67 mustang from the US and have put a bit of work into it. I'm not a huge at guy more of a wanna be so to speak but love to learn what I can.
Anyway I had a heck of a time getting this bad boy started finally got the right starter in there. New battery.
Now I am working on horns that don't seem to work!
I have a heater box but seems to be a pain to instal so am fence sitting about installing it, since this will be a warm season car and certainly not a daily driver.
I have to work on the parking brake as it is not connected at the rear.
I have to install mirrors, seatbelts, fix the horns, oh I need weather stripping for the trunk, cowl, windows (outters).
Anyway, I'm sure there is a lot more I'm not thinking of right now, like door switches for the lights as light always dated on,radio, speakers, glove box and emblem installation.
Well thanks for having me and please, I welcome any and all advice from any seasoned guys out there.

Welcome to the Mustang world!
Sounds like you have a bit of a project going on. Take on one thing at a time and do it right so you don't have to do it again. You will learn lots. With most things that don't work always look at the simple reason why it doesn't work. With electrical make check to fuse, check the connections and check for a good ground.
If you have a mustang club close to home or a car club close to home it would not hurt to join for some contacts and maybe some advice from some of the folks that have gone through it a few times.
The '67 is a cool classic that keeps getting cooler as time goes on. I don't think it will ever go out of style so hang in there and do what you can, ask for suggestions and ask for help when you need it. Having a mechanic friend you can bounce things off of helps alot.....helps even more if you can get a mechanic buddy to look at things or to check out what you have done or what you should do.
Enjoy it!

It's good to be here. I appreciate the advice. I'm located in Durham region just east of Toronto.
Wife got me some cool seatbelt a for christmas! That will be fun to install.
One thing at time is great advice and that's what I plan on doing since I'm in no rush since I have to pay Hst to get this car registered to my name
Oh well such is life! Haha
Thanks again and please, I welcome all and any advice.

welcome. I have a 67 Fastback and it's only a summer car and I would say to install the heater box. I drive it in early mornings and later at night and its nice to have heat. Let alone if you get caught in the rain and need to defrost your windshield.
