New from st thomas, Ontario
I just wanted to say hi to all, glad to find this site. I just purchased a 1982 project mustang that I plan on doing this winter, cant wait till next summer when it should be complete, but I am sure I will be looking for some answers and parts along the way.
Thanks to all in advance Hugh |
Welcome to CMOC. Can't wait to see the build.
|
Thanks, I will take some pics soon, the car was in really good shape especially considering the age, only 4-5 minor surface rust spots, but a new nice shiny paint job is in store. With a little bit of time and $$$ of course we will be cruising around.
I was suprised when I went and looked at it there is no mufflers, just the cats is this common? |
Welcome to the forum dude - take lots of pictures and start a build thread. Check out VAEM's build thread for a good example of how it's done - it's been a riot watching his project go from step to step.

I had a look at VAEM'S Build thread, wow very nice. I will have to start one for sure, although mine wont be involved near as much as his and his daughters. It will be fun for sure though I cant wait to start it now |

If you see me on the street, honk and if you have time, we can go for a coffee! I'm an old guy (48) though, and not very fast! :) Street trim! I am always running Drag Radials Attachment 20399 Strip Trim! Hoosier Bias Ply. More grip less strain on the tranny! Pain in the but to change all four at the track though! (old guy thing) :) Attachment 20400 |
