not sure

Hi there. I am new to the forum and looking for some info regarding my car. I have a 1991 convertible lx with a 5.0 5spd and want to do some upgrades. I have a 2.5 off road h pipe with magmaflo mufflers, a BBK fenderwell cai and a msd ignition box cap and coil. I will be putting in a 373 gear in the spring but i also want to upgrade the upper and lower intake as well as the heads and cam. My question is.. is it worth it for me to change just the intakes with out doing anyother upgrades? Or do I have to upgrade other components at the same time to see any gains. any help is much appreciated.

Welcome aboard.
No matter how you look at at, yes it is worth the upgrade, even if you do it before any other mods, or after any other mod. In the end, every mod adds up, and compliments each other no matter when they are added on, the end result, or goal is the same, and what matters. Some can do it all at once, and some do it on a budget with a part or two at a time.

Hey there. I have another question. Is it possible to bolt on a super charger to a stock motor? Or will i blow the bottom out of it? I was thinking the kenne bell blowzilla 2.1? and if I can what upgrades would I need to do? ie heads fuel pump etc. Ive heard that you can just bolt a super charger to a stock motor instant power. Sounds to simple to me.

Stock bottom end should be fine as long as long as you don't go wild with the boost. If you buy a kit it should come with everything you need.

It's not necessary but you will see much larger gains doing so.
