Wanna Buy A Mustang

Hi fellow Canadians,

I am new to this Mustang thing. My Step Father recovered from cancer 2 years ago, and is finanlly getting back to his old self. We have always wanted a new Mustang to work on as a project, but could never afford one. I also, at 30, have gone back to school for Social Work and have just graduated. Even though my school loans are huge, but I am starting to save for my Mustang.

I plan on surprising my step father when I actually buy it. I hope to document my journey as I go. I have exactly $1 saved. I know it sounds stupid, but it is a start. I look forward to getting to know more Mustang enthusiasts along the way.

Welcome to the Site. Nice to hear about your Step-fathers recovery. I wouldn't want to see what kinda Mustang $1.00 will get you but if it's only a start I guess you're in good shape. What style Mustang do you eventually want to buy? First generation (1964 1/2–1973), Second generation (1974–1978), Third generation (1979–1993), Fourth generation (1994–2004), or Fifth generation (2005–present)?

I am hoping to get a new one. The new 5.0l. I saw her at the autoshow. I have never been more smitten by a car in my whole life.

Welcome to the site. At your age, it is a good idea to get a new one and then hang on to it for 30 or 40 years. Get a winter beater! Good luck and it is good to hear that your step father is on the road to recovery.

Our idea of perfect would be a 2011 5.0l, with the brake package and Tuxedo Black metallic. I know they do not offer that colour, but it would be sweet. I like the Kona blue. And the Ebony is nice as well. Also I now have $51 dollars, my buddy donated on my blog through my paypal account. lol. Only about $39,950 to go.
