That's pretty cool

Today I am writing from Las Cruces, New Mexico. Came across Oklahoma and Texas. Man Texas is a big place...didn't think it would ever end...whole lot of nothing out in west Texas...heck if there were a road to the moon, I'd be half way there already..LOL. Actually it was a pretty interesting drive as the scenery does change as you move west.
I'm planning to be here 4 days to check out White Sands, Alamogordo, Roswell and what ever else catches my eye. There's some old ghost towns that I may check if roads are good enough.
Enough rambling for now....

Well I'm in Santa Fe now for next few days. Took a drive up to the Santa Fe Ski Basin today...it's about 15 miles of very windy road(fun, fun, fun). Elevation rises from 6500 feet at Santa Fe to 10,200 feet at ski hill. Man I could of used a blower on the car for that trip..the old limer was sucking pretty hard...and her tongue was hanging out when I got there...lol. When I got back I took a short run to a place called Madrid, just south of here. This is where the movie Wild Hogs(Tim Allen and crew on motorcycles) was filmed. Cool little place in middle of nowhere.

I am very jealous of this drive you are doing. So is it going to be Whipple or Kenne Bell? Lol

Well guys & gals, today I arrived in Colorado Springs, Co. Getting ready to clean up the limer(she is covered in bugs) for the 11th Annual Monument Charity Car Show tomorrow just about 10 miles up the road from here. It's an open show but with a large group of 'stangs...getting ready for RMMR at Steamboat Springs June 14 - 17.

Ya Chad, wipple, kenny bell or I'm actually thinking Saleen S/C. Guys needs one if you're going live in NM or Colorado. Everything is a 6000+ feet and it's all uphill from there...lol.
