A Hooters event for Justice

Dammit!
Just been "told" by the inherited family that my 12 or 13yr old niece has some church deal that the wife an I have to attend that day.
It's in freakin Brockville!!!!!!!!!!
I've expressed my feelings (been to way too many of these things...a 3hr drive to sit in the back of a church for 45 minutes, and the only concern of the kid is what kind of gift you bought them).
I'm not a church-going guy...wasn't brought up that way. A nice cruise in the hot rod on a Sunday morning to attend an event and hang with those that love the hobby is church for me.
I'm not out yet...still making my case...but it doesn't look good.
Sorry Joe. :cry2:

I'm trying here Tony.
It won't be without a fight.
Attending a car show with WTF for an awesome cause vs. dragged into a 6hr drive (both ways) for a quick but unpleasant church experience for a kid that won't even remember if I was there.
