You should read stuff like that before posting just because the title says $3500 does not mean he wants that for it. That was a bid on E-Bay car THIS IS NOT EBAY!!!! If you had of read the intire thing you would have seen ("Cost $3500 alone for the paint.") and NOT FOR THE CAR!

No that is indeed the asking price - I have purchased 2 rolling chassis (and numerous parts) from that site. What he was saying is someone would be getting a deal as 'thats what the paint cost alone'.

This is not the place to post stuff like that but I think CS was making the point of what kind of deals are out there. As far as collector's go they generally seek low km cars with original engines.

Why this thread has gone to hell is because the car went up for sale and the owner seemed tweaked because there was not an 'instant interest'.

Well to give him a better clue people chimed in with their opinions (some nice and some not so nice) and it appears he didn't like what he was told - which was simply the truth. Bottom line is many agreed the asking price was way too much. If he could have accepted it the car probably would have been sold by now.

If he is seeking said 'collector' to buy this *rare car* then it should go up on ebay.

it can be if you want it to be. ive changed a few things since this was posted.i did a 3" magnaflow exhaust turbo back, i did a 5 bolt swap and added 2000 gt wheels to it, lowered it with 2000 mustang suspension. email me and i can send you some pics and what not jluscombe11@hotmail.com
