2nd night at the track(Still stock tires)

Well Tonight I decided to head to grand bend for the 1/4 mile spur of the moment. Got there around 745ish and lined right up. After about 15 minutes I was at the line, first run I lost the slip but it was around 14.7ish @ 99.95mph spinning all of first and a bit of second. The car right after me I guess blew his motor half way down the track so we ended up having to wait almost 45 minutes for it to re open.

Pass 2 - Still abit of wheel spin in first: 14.52 @ 99.18
Pass 3 - Still not quite hooking: 14.43 @ 101.36
Pass 4 - Went from 42 PSI to 36: 13.91 @ 102.1
Pass 5 - Came right back around for this one: 13.89 @ 102.48

So after a decent night and still stock tires I was pretty happy with what I ran, wish I didn't forget my air pump so i could have played with the tires more oh well good times.

Good job man - obviously getting the hang of it with the quicker times on each run. Way to go.

Not an expert but lower those stockers to 25-26 psi and see your times drop

Yea I forgot the pump when I left for the night so I didn't want to really play with it to much. Next month it will be the first thing I pack lol

I am just waiting for spring to roll back around I got my 4.10s and 1 piece to late in the season to make a return to the track. In the spring I am hoping for slicks in the rear and skinny fronts but we shall see how it all plays out
