Cayuga TMP April 24th Spring Warm Up
 

Looking at the TMP site they got a cheap day of racing on Sunday the 24th April for Spring Warm Up 2005.
Time trial and swap meet race buy sell what ever!. $10.00 bucks. "I'll buy that for a dollar"

If no rain, I am their for sure. Depending on the weather since Sparta opens on the 1st of April may have a few runs under the belt before the 24th.

Don't forget to pencil this one in. My brother in his Malibu maybe will be going and me in the Mach for sure.

Anyone is London area possible road trip down there via hwy #3. Yes, no, maybe?? Thoughts. I will keep this active as the date gets closer. (ttt)

Well i should have another car up and running by this time.
Wonder if i can slap it all together and frist time out run better then Cougar every did?

The car might not look good but it will run good.
I have to go to FL for end of march so i should have my car together b4 then or just after then.

I'm using almost everything from the cougar and swaping it into another fox body somthing.

Wish this old man would sell me his pinto wagon.

I've marked it down on the calendar. I'm anxious to see what the new motor can do :tup

I'll be there, and I'm DYING to get back on the track asap. My car should be done next week, so I'll be there on the 24th for sure and I'll try to make it down for the 1st of April as well!!!! Keep me updated.

Things aren't looking good for the 24th.. I don't think my car will be hitting the road until sometime in May..

I know most of you are coming from the North.

I am coming from the west via Hwy #3 St.Thomas all the way down #3 to the track.

Anyone from the London area or near interested in cruising down that day? Probally be my girlfriend and I. Speed limit observered, not like the 401 route. :(

Hopefully this year I can make it into the 12's. I think the car has it in it, the problem is me. Practice makes 12's I think for me. Good luck.

What is the best you have ran at the strip so far or last year?

so far 11.60 stock motor blown head gasket, last year 12.70 with heads cam and intake straight motor, this year turbocharger 10s :tup

same.. the car went 13.2 on slicks.. I have to pull the subs and amp.. and try and find a fiberglass hood. and electric fan... and practice practice practice..

Right on, sounds like a few of us will be around next week. I was at Sparta this omorning, I did not run, was going to but waiting for times at Cayuga before I run it down Sparta this year. I was there for the clean up. A few stangs their not many.

I'm hoping and hoping that my car will be done, but I dont think it will be unless it can be finished on saturday. I've got to finish porting my heads and send them out to be machined........... ohhhhh I wish to be able to make it. If not I'm coming down with some other buddies and we're going to try and get a 13.6-13.7 out of 1Fine89's beast.........
