Setup is Whipple HO, 8psi pulley (386rwhp mustang dyno), stock suspension, 2010 gt500 take off 285/35/19 Godyear F1 rears on 19" TSW wheels and exhaust, stock 3.55 rear gears

My previous best with WMS 95mm intake, SCT tune, bassani x pipe and corsa exhaust was 14.22 at 100.22mph. 60 foot times in the 2.2 range

The best of my 3 passes last night was 13.26 @ 107.8 MPH. The DA for the night at the track was 4700feet. My 60 foot on that pass was a 2.07 (my other two passes were 13.4's and 60 foots of 2.1...) I did get almost 109mph on my last pass but I spun a bit in 1st.

I was leaving the lights at about 2400 rpm with a little wheel spin but no wheel hop. I dropped the pressure in the tires from 35-25psi for the track.

Corrected for the DA my best pass is a 12.95 @ 110mph.

I was hoping for high 12's with my setup. I'm looking for insight on how to shave a few tenths off. Obsiously drag radials or et slicks will drastically improve my time however that is one mod I am unwilling to do at this point. I don;t want to do gears either. My whole idea is complete street spec at the strip. If anyone can point me in the right direction the help would be greatly appreciated.

Still happy with chopping off a full second from my times but I feel like there is more to be gained...

Get a new 3 link for the rear, aluminum drive shaft, those are a couple of bolt on mods you could do. Engine wise maybe heads and headers using a mild blower grind cam but you have to be careful not to exceed your rods ability to stay together.

Honestly the cheaper mods are gears but then you may have to look at tires which you do not want to do. BTW what did you do with your WMS intake?

I sold my WMS intake to another CMOC member DONKEY. Is a 3rd link another name for an upper control arm?

I see you have an aluminum driveshaft, did you see any 1/4 mile gains with the addition of the DS? I read that its good for 1-2 tenths, however some disagree.

Headers and a cam are a good idea. However I would likely just add some boost as its a cheaper alternative to headers and a cam.

BTW 14.36 is pretty sweet for a V6, my PB when I was NA was 14.22 at race city.

I have Eibach pro kit springs at home ready for install....but i'm unsure if thats going to help or hurt at the strip...

A 3 link is the combination of 2 lower and 1 upper control arms. In fact try the lowers first and see how you like them as the upper tends to offer a bit of cabin noise depending on the bushing. I did see the result of the drive shaft on my car and it was a couple tenths. As for the headers you would use them to improve on your volumetric efficiency by widening the exhaust pressure pulses thus clearing some of your back pressure from the cylinders especially at WOT thus robbing less power from your engine. Even a set of shorties are better than stock as it takes just that split second longer to have the hot exhaust travel down and up the primary's. As for the cams they just offer an even more efficient flow of both the intake and exhaust with the greatest gain in HP.

The 14.361 is a result from Mission BC last year at Mega Ford Weekend which is a sea level venue, mind you I am a bit disappointed in that result as I was gunning for a high 13 or very low 14 on that weekend mind you the DA was not favorable, the 60' time is a direct result of a set of drag radials with a rod end 3 link with a 3000 stall converter mixed with a bit of driving skill of course. As you can see with the MPH there was no wheel spin.

EDIT: The Eibach pro kit will not help your times at the track in fact it will hurt them a bit, to be honest with you here is what you should do........keep the front springs in and replace the back springs with a set of V6 springs for better weight transfer. Also the replacement of just springs on stock dampers will kill the dampers in short time and your handling will suck when the dampers start leaking, the stock dampers are not meant to be lowered so if you are lowering get new dampers as well like Tokico's that are designed for a lower suspension. My Eibach's and Tokico's are coming off this year.

The driver mod is the best free mod one can have.It takes practice to learn a new set up.It will not happen over night.
With my expirience,one can shave a good half of second with practice alone.Learning what the car likes at different launches,shifting points,ect....But with more hp added like you have,you will be fighting for traction no matter what you do.I know your not looking at tires,but they are the big factor for someone like you with a blower,or any power adder if you want to cut good sixty foots for maximum traction.
