Exclamation lower my time?

hey all,
right now i run right around 16.0 in the 1/4 mile, for some reason i cant get traction . so right now i have a posi unit with 3:73 gears on order.

what do you think the change of gears will do for my time?
right now i have 3:27 gears in it.
thanks all

You should notice a little difference.. if traction is an issue.. you might want to run a different tire.

Ummm, less traction?
Get some wieght off the front, pull the sway bar links, launch a little softer, or what the heck with those times, leave the traction control on! I've seen guys run low 14's with it on.

sorry to maybe confuse you all, you guys think i have a gt?.
its only the 3.8 V6. that is why the shitty times.
and when i say no traction i mean, i spin for a couple feet or so (one wheel peel)
i just thought going to a 3:73 gear would make a big difference, and what i mean by a big difference would be a second. and going to posi would help me out on the traction part.
thanks again

What tires are you running?

You'll be in the 15s for sure with the gears and posi and it will help your traction problem.

your MPH is good to touch low 15's, MAYBE even high high 14's, if you can launch the car. It will spin a bit more in 1st, but the posi should help out. If you can muster a 2.0 or reach for a 1.9... 14's to low 15's would certainly be attainable.

373's and t-lok will help[ out for sure, they will net you mid 15's.

From your current times I assume you have a 5-speed? Cause 16.0 is pretty good for an auto.

wow, great times. A 3000 stall torque converter will help a lot for the auto's, if your looking for more power off the line. The t-lok will help with traction as your sending it all to one wheel now, with t-lok it will be between the two wheels.
