Im going to change the front spring rate and raise the car a bit for better transfer. I basicly want to master this set up and shoot for a 1.55 sixty foot and see what kind of et I can get out of her.

Then I will be doing my head/cam combo and shoot for 4-410 wrhp and netting low low 11's

 

That's awesome!It's amazing how much of it is in the suspension set up,and tuning!What cam's to you plan on using?Any plans to run a power adder of some sort down the road?

 

Comp 127500 cam's. I do plan on a power adder... just waiting to build the short block because when I do I want 600+

Vortech YSI with an 8 rib set up, big air to air cooler, with a T56 magnum transmission. Ultimate goal for this car is to have a chute and drive it around the street, go to the track and run 9's

Good question. Do you need a cage to run 9's

 

If i remember correctly,you need one once you dip into the 11's.

 

Wow that number seems high but I am no drag racer, obviously
