New best in 1/4 at Sparta on Saturday
Went out Saturday to test and tune at Sparta and ran back to back 12.8's at 106. Best I could get at Sparta last year were 13.2's. I had broke into the 12's last year but not at Sparta.
here are the numbers. Killer 60fts for an unprepped track, I can't wait to get to another sticky track or on a Sunday at Sparta with the new set up and weight reduction. I am hoping for 1.6's from the Hoosier Drag Radials.
No 1/8th times as a sled took the markers out.
60ft:1.724
330ft:5.267
1/4 ET:12.827
1/4 MPH:106.06
60ft:1.718
330ft:5.262
1/4 ET:12.834
1/4 MPH:106.12
Shift light is on its way form Summit as I think the differances are where I am shifting first and possibly third. Hopefully the light will at least keep me at the same rpm. Just got to figure out which that is. lol I did order the MSD light that has 4 shift points that I can select.
It was really good to get back out on the 1/4 mile and giverrrr. I had fun for sure.

That's all with no engine modifications (not counting CAI), pretty impressive.
What rims are you using for the hoosiers?

I am close to swapping a guy for his gt brake and my Mach brakes. That way I would not have to run a spacer. That is my plan. the mach comes with 13 1/2 Brembo brakes from the factory so he would be getting better deal but the dela suits me as his brakes will work fine and unless I was doing cirlce track I really do not think I could tell the differance. Win win for the two fo us. Still deciding though.

You couldn't pay me to put GT brakes on my Cobra. On my V6 I went from the V6 brakes to the Cobra ones and it made a world of difference. Not sure how close the GT ones are to the V6 but I wouldn't do it, especially since it's my daily driver.
Did you have to get longer studs when running the spacer or were the stock ones fine?
