Saskatchewan's Fastest Streetcar Shootout
#14
There's a profile of the car here: http://www.tecmotion.ca/90coupe_profile.htm
That track in Swift Current runs pretty slow. The car has run as quick as 9.44@143 at the coast: http://youtu.be/Zy4_Y2ctBcs
Briefly, the car is a naturally aspirated 399 ci Dart block based motor, shifted at 8800 RPM, with a McLeod Soft-Lok clutch and Lenco ST1200, and a built Ford 8.8". It is registered and insured and street legal including stuff like a horn and power windows and power locks. Think of it like a 70's Pro-Stock car, but with smaller displacement, stock wheelbase, and in a full-interior heavy street car package.
