Sparta's not as bad a ppl make it out to be...All the tracks are around the same sea level so there really no advantage there...just track prep...I have a hard time hooking at Sparta some nights...but NEVER at G/B.

 

I can not hook worth a shat at Sparta. Do they do any track prep at Sparta?

 

Early in the season is best....or late fall....

 

for track prep? or are you just talking times in general. If times in general yes I agree as the weather is cooler.

 

I have no problems hooking anywhere!

Although I am scared of the end of the Sparta track and the return road.. when I went it had some nice potholes in it.

 

first run... spun through 1st, 2nd and 3rd, i almost kept driving.. straight home.

second run... spun through 1st, 2nd and part of 3rd, ran a 14.1 or something

third run... did better.. but forgot the traction control on... timeslip said 13.9, clock said 13.4.. so i dunno

had to leave after that, and its the only time i've been. gotta practice cuz this is sad

 

If you ran 13.4 that is good stock. I know I am the one slowing my car down. I just need practise.

What are you expecting from your car and is it stock?

 

Some small Hondas got lost in some of those holes...

Its better now...and the track prep is better at the beginning of the season and end then it is during they are so busy they dont put alot into it.

 

Thanks, are you and some or your club going to the clean up/painting days that Dave is having if the weather holds?

 

yah a bunch of the club will be there on the Sunday morning...

I saw Dave all wknd at Speedorama...he kept walking by telling me I had to be there...lol
