TMP is about 45 minutes away. I have been there once on a DR and 20 times on a Street tire. I would like to go to Sparta or grand bend this summer.

It seems that a lot of us are neutral to the three tracks give or take an hour. Maybe as it gets closer we can organize a road trip or something to all the tracks this spring/summer.

If it is your hometrack we could all meet somewhere or meet in the track. Some of you know some others on the board and even if we don't we know our cars.

Nothing too heavy, just something like hey who wants to go to Cayuga or Grandbend or Sparta this Friday, Saturday, Wed..
Something to think about it. Keep her straight.

Eagle Motorplex in Ashcroft is 2 hours away, Nice, laid back track in the middle of the desert but famous for it's oppressive summertime heat (June through september, you could be racing in the mid-high 30's). For the July and august races they have night drags on the saturday evening-race until 1 am, drink beer, wake up and race sunday morning.
I'm about 3 1/2 hours from Mission and there is a local 1/8th mile track called thunder mountain (about 25 minutes away) but it is at 4500 feet and the 1/8th mile is lame compared to the quarter.

steeda Q: how is Grand Bend, never made it, going to go next year for sure.

This is what I have heard, Grand Bend TMP Sparta in that order for traction and e.t.

Some say Sparta over TMP, I can not hook up at Sparta but my mph is always higher their. I like that it is just mins down the road.
i can run the wheels off my stock 86 to the tune of low 13s, shoudl hit high 12s this year with the "crappy" e6 heads. i'll give you a few lessons if you'll let me take the Mach down the track once.....i love them cars

i'm usually at St.Thomas for Buick day (love the turbo buicks) but am planning on trying Grand bend this year for a chance at better traction and maybe a decent 12 second run before the mods go on....

He's just being a smart *** due to his jealousy of Paul from Steeda.ca who tunes cars. Disregard just about anything he says

I've been racing at St Thomas [and when it was called London Motorsports Park] since 1996.

I have wanted to try Grand Bend for traction, but I ALWAYS hear that the place is so busy that the staging lanes are CONGESTED with people waiting to run, and so I have never gone. I'd like to try TMP too, and very likely will this summer. I'll load up and stay at my brothers in Port Colborne and just go from Port, to Cayuga...

GB, i'll do if I know it's not a huge event or going to be overly busy..

I'm game if we do an Ontario CMOC track day.. that would be kick ***.
