3:73 Gear install cost
#13
2 - 3 weeks ago I went to place local in Langley BC close to my house called Rears and Gears, I got a complete rear end rebuild done with 4.10 Gears, 31 Spline Moser axles and Ford Racing T-lok diff done. I had all the parts basically, the oil as well, and with all the labour I left it there for a full day, and It costed about 750 for EVERYTHING with tax to get done (95 an hour and almost 7 hours). Not a single bad noise, smooth as butter great install and I haven't fully tromped on it yet cause its still "breaking in" but I can say already GO WITH 4.10's. I gained some MPG in the city, and on the highway just take the slower lane and it's not much difference, but man is it nice always being in the high part of the power band I would suspect gears would be 2 - 4 hours. Just my 2 cents.

Hey there Milner......In my opinion, it all depends on what you have in mind for future Performance Mods. At this point you being stock, I personally would go with 3:73's for Automatic and 4:10's for Stick. Call Pat or Paul at Steeda.Ca out by you in Milton. Paul does quality work and has done tons of these Gear-Set installs.....should take about 5 hours (labour $425, plus Rear Gear Oil & Friction Modifier). Hope this helps..
