I got 5 saying it was probly just the starter.

Every year I take my fuel pump fuse out and roll it over a few times to get the oil up and around....then I plug it back in and fire her up. Mine is a prick to get it going, need more time tuning the ISC settings in my TwEECer! Hope to soon get the bugs out!

Ya, I would say the starter drive stayed engaged with the ring gear - makes one hell of a racket.

ya its either the fuel pump or disconect the coil on my 95 , turn her over a couple of time to prime the lifters and the crank bearings ,cam bearings ect. oil is your friend. just starting it up with out pre oiling is just asking for motor problems. actually even my way im still doing a little damage .the best absolut way is to pull the distributor , and turn the oil pump with out even cranking the motor. i think you can buy the special tool for it , wich i think im going to do this year. with the money ive got into this now the last thing i need to do is spin a bearing. :bleh:
