Diff. Bearings

Seems I have a bearing gone on the input shaft of my differential. I was wondering if they where pressed in and how hard they are to change. I understand you have to be careful about shimming the gears right etc. when you put it back together but i also hear that ford is the easiest rear end to set up and as long as i put everything back in exactly how it came out i should be fine. Anybody here tried this or know how hard it is to get the old bearing out and a new one in without damaging the housing etc. Tnx. Maybe with a bit of luck i can take the silver fox out to see some of her relatives next season. Anybody in the Orillia area ??
