Drivetrain Questions
Hey people,
First Question, I am in the process of picking up a transmission cooler at napa theres a light duty for $89 and a heavy duty for $109. Which is good for me? 4r70w transmission car is also a 03 GT supercharged. Even better are the napa coolers fine?
Second Question, There is a very annoying squeak from the rear passengar side wheel, only when you hit a bump or push down on the trunk in that area. it driving me nuts anyone have this problem or know what it is? I think its just a bushing.
this also sounds like its higher in the back like the back window.
Third Question, Passenger side front wheel makes any woop sound as it rotates almost like there the rotor is warped. Anyone know or had any experience with this?
I am starting to lose my earring i has to drive with the radio loud so i cannot hear these things. LOL

#1no expirience with any coolers,being a stick guy,but i imagine any oil cooler would be good!
#2 sounds like the rear control arm bushings are a little dry,mine did this before i started to oil guard it by Krown.
Spray some WD40 at all points where the rear control arms are bolted to the chassis,then bounce it up,and down (not erratically) a few times to let it work in.
#3 could be a warped rotor,but is hard to tell without hearring it.

#1} As for the tranny coolers, you might wanna have a look at them first. The heavy is probly more so for a large truck doing a lot of heavy towing, or even at car at a road course/drag strip...As for your everyday daily driver you might only need the smaller one.
#2} As 1LOW03GT said spray the joints, but if it were me....go down to your local Krown Rust Control and buy a can of T-40 (Krown in a can) its $10.00 a can and doesn't were/evaporate like WD40 does. It will also penetrate into the steel giving it protection from rust.
#3} Drive down the road, make sure there is no one behind you and come onto the breaks hard. If you hear that (WAW, WAW, WAW...) or your ABS starts to mess up you have a warped rotor, this is what I would say as well.
