How to get better traction?
So my clutch blew up a couple weeks ago at the track. Before it did I was running 13.5 at 106mph with a 2.0 60 foot. So today since my clutch was broken in I took it to the track thinking I'd do better since this clutch seems to "bite" more. Boy was I wrong. Best I could do was 14.1 at 104mph with a 2.5 60 foot. My tires just spin through 1st, 2nd and into 3rd. The used to spin in first before but not the whole way. The rear end was even kicking out a bit in 2nd and 3rd.
SO I know tires are my first buy but should I get drag radials or actual slicks? Is there anything else I can do to help? I know traction bars were an option in the earlier years. Are they still?
Thanks!

Suspension will help like drag springs from someone like Eibach for an example, and a set of adjustable shocks, and struts aswell where you can dial in the perfect setting to help in weight transfer, then firm them back up for the street. They both will soften the ride for better weight transfer to aid the rear to plant to the ground better.Slicks or drag radials will, but the slick will really make her hook more so then the drag radials. After market rear control arms can also help since the factory ones are flimsy. The aftermarket ones are a tube style in indesign, and come with nice poly urthane bushings which helps stop any flex in both areas.
