knocking noise

When I am braking I can hear a a knocking noise in the rear end of my 08. Could this be a sign that the rear torsion bar bushing are going? Thanks in advance.

Maybe a sway bar link or bushing or even something with the rear shocks or springs. You won't have tosion bars on your car.

Do you think any of these would be covered under the 5yr/100,000km drivetrain warranty?

The warranty might cover it. You should go to ford.ca and look it up or phone the dealer and ask.

They wouldn't really know till they know what part is the fault but it isn't likely a warranty repair unless you have Ford ESP.

I thought the drivetrain would consist of the motor tranny gears etc but it does not hurt to check for sure, good luck
