Konis or Bilsteins are the best if your budget allows. Sometimes you can even find a good deal on some low mile original 03-04 Cobra Bilstein front struts, those would be perfect. For the rears you have to get the aftermarket Bilsteins because the IRS Cobra shocks don't work with the giant lamppost that you have for a rear axle on a pre-99.

cheers

Thanks Ed!!

I make a quick search on Rockauto.com 2004 Mustang Cobra:

- MOTORCRAFT Part # ASH24461 {#3R3318006CA, 3R3Z18124CA, AST44}
Front; w/o Appearance Package CAD$175.67

- MOTORCRAFT Part # AST65 {#3R3V18A084AA, 3R3Z18124DA}
Front; Total Performance Package CAD$343.94

is it Bilstein front struts ford replacement parts??

Steeda have bilstein struts Part Number: 395-V36-4138-HI: 274$
Bilstein Front Strut 395-V36-4138-HI - Steeda.ca

They are not cheap !!!

DaSilva Racing in Pickering Ontario is a dealer for MM parts, you can go through them. Might be someone in PQ that is a dealer too.

Great price for that package. Better off spending a bit more than you would on KYBs, for a much superior product that will last the balance of the life of the car.

cheers
