LF: Dimensions of the plug bolt on brake PV for 87 fox

Hello all,

Havent posted in a while, searched the internet high and low can't seem to find the info, i'm looking for specs on the plug bolt on the brake proportioning valve for an 87 5.0L fox (discs/drums). Basically looking for length/Diameter/thread specs. If by chance your located in the ottawa area and have a stock PV laying around with the bolt still in it i would take it off your hands. I dont feel like paying 16 bucks for a bolt from Maximum Motorsports.

Cheers

Marc

No one eh, well let me ask then, has anyone here put in a manual proportioning valve, and when you did and you removed the insides of the OE proportioning valve did you re-use the bolt/plug?

hehhe, let me try that again, when you put in a manual proportioning valve like mine, it hooks up to the rear brake line only (specific spot is near the driver side shock tower). You don't actually remove the stock proportioning valve, you leave it in place but you need to remove remove the plug bolt and then the spring and plunger inside of it. Reading on maximum motorsports website the say when the inside is gutted if you reuse that plug bolt it will leak because of so and so. I just want to know if anyone has reused that bolt and not had a leak.

^^^ I think we're reading the same info. LOL Looks to me like you need to re-use the bolt.
