i hope im in the right forum for this. i have a 95 mustang 3.8 and the cable for the shifter is rusted out and is no longer connected to the shifter. i am looking for a new cable but the dealership is absoloutly no help what so ever. if anyone can direct me to somewhere i can get one it would be greatly appreciated.

How can a dealership not be able to source the parts? Have you tried eBay - New & used electronics, cars, apparel, collectibles, sporting goods & more at low prices ?

 

its not the fact that they cant scource the parts. its the fact they say it will be a month wait and they want $367 for a damn cable. so i was wondering if someone on the forums may have the part or know where i can get one easily.

 

is it just the clutch cable you're looking for?

no its actually the shifter cable. its the v6 automatic mustang. and the shifter cable that attatches to the shifter and then the thanny.
