trans from a 3.8L swap?

I have got a '84 auto 3.8L AOD trans , just want to know will it bolt up to '87+ 5.0L motor .If not what year of Fords work for the 5.0L motor i am looking for a Auto , Thanxs

to be honest, idk if it's a dirrect bolt on but I do remember some people saying that it'll mount up. honestly tho.. I'd be worried about how strong a 3.8 tranny would be on a 5L. look for an auto at a pick a part kinda thing, couldn't be too expensive

but i'm sure you'll get a definate answer from someone here

I have done some research, the trans should physically bolt up to the 5 liter. I'm not sure about the torque converter, or the transmissions' ability to hold up to the power though.

I have called yards looking for a Auto Trans for my 5.0L and they want $400 + and the motor is a 5.0L H.O. which i only paid $200
