I am no mechanic obviously but does T/C not also work in conjunction with ABS?

traction control has nothing to do with the rear end or gears it is for winter or slippery conditions and has to do with the brakes.btw there is no such thing as ALUMINUM axles.if i were you i would get a used 8.8 and skip the headache with the stock rear.you can even get them with 3.73's installed already from the factory.i went the v6 beefed up route and it was ok till i started making big power then it was time to switch to the 8.8.there is not much difference in price by the time you buy all the parts and have someone else do the install.don't waste your time.unless you are going to race this thing alot the 4.10's are really not needed.imho

go with the 4.10's if you wish but at least put them in a 8.8.the 7.5 is junk and a waste of money.i just ordered a set of 4.10's twenty minutes ago for my 8.8.then again i race it all the time and need to spin it up to keep it at 15psi boost at the top end of the track.

traction control won't let your motor rev if it senses a tire spinning.also it will apply brakes and power to where and when it sees fit to do so.it is connected to the abs if you have it.

Good choice, going with the 4.10s. I did a rear end swap for another member here, and he went with 4.10s on his '06 V6/auto. He came back from his first drive with an ear to ear grin.

3,73 if your a daily driver
4.10 if u plan on racing all the time
4.10 make gear 1 completely useless and 2 almost useless
