Will Ford GT wheels fit my 98 GT?

Not sure if anyone has done this or how it will look but..... I am pretty sure my car would look amazing with these wheels it would give it such a mean aggresive stance(its lowered 2.5" already)

Without a doubt they would look awesome BUT I don't know it FORD GT rims will fit your car. MANY aftermarket Mustang parts suppliers (American Muscle, Stage 3 Motorsports, etc.) make Ford GT replica rims for your year Mustang. Good luck!

You can get them for your year threw American Muscle.
Just scroll down on the following link, and you will see them....

They have great prices and quick shipping as well

Agreed. That is where i got my rims/tires combo from aswell. :tup

Only problem is the biggest wheel I see is a 18"x10" :( I want a wider wheel. Imagine seeing those 19x11.5 with lots of rubber on the back :chacha: that website is awesome though thank you, I actually ordered some stuff off there lastnight... spent alot more then I wanted to haha :)

SNAKEBITE 11-17-2010 04:40 PM

^^^usually the case. Could you not have the rims you select widened?

Believe me,the 18X10's will look plenty good. The 19's might look a little odd.The wheel opennings aren't that big on a SN95 to give the right affect in my opinion.
And no prob's on the link.Love that place.I get a few things from them every winter.
Their shipping timeline is awesome.:tup
When i ordered my FR500's,it was a sunday night, and i recieved them by wednesday afternoon!!!

are your FR500's 18x10s? they look really nice man. I can't decide if I want the 17x10.5 for the extra .5 which will allow me like a 325 right or just stick with the 10inch which gives a max of a 315 right?

I have a fettish for wide tires :D

1low03gt 11-19-2010 02:51 PM

Thanks dude!Yeah, the fronts are 18X9,and the rears are 18X10.If you run 18X10,the max that most go for tire size out back is 295's,some new edge guys have used 305's,but that depends on the tire manufacture.
With the 17X10.5,315's is the max.
Anything more for either sized rim,you will need to start rolling the rear fender lips.
Oh,and ride height plays a little bit of a factor aswell.
So far i've done both.Either look pretty "phat" .:tup

SNAKEBITE 11-19-2010 03:54 PM

Phat you are younger than I thought^^^tehehehe

Lumberjack 11-19-2010 05:35 PM

I've already rolled my fenders.... so what is the max I can fit on that 17x10.5? still a 315? I know thats plenty of rubber.. but for looks bigger is better imo. If I had the money i'd tub it with 15 inch wide wheels :lol

1low03gt 11-19-2010 10:55 PM

In my opinion, you would be pushing it beyond 315's with the SN95 ,with the new edge stangs you would have a tad more room to play since the rear quarters are a little wider.
