What is probably happening, is you are getting "post reply emails". what that means is because you posted in this thread, so once someone else makes another post is that you are just getting a notification about the new post.
If you want it turned off, just disable post reply notification in your userCP.

Is the balancer a flat one or raised one?

 

The balancer is factory style. Looks allot like a factory one. No spacers are used. Not like a pro products. More like a Ford Racing Balancer.

Yes, I still have the 3.8 v6. The 2.3 and trans. are sold.
