my car doesnt drone that bad only between 1800-2000rpm but it doesnt bother me any with the O/R X its loud dont matter what you have for mufflers

 

thats interesting, because I sell both, and i have never seen a "real" flowmaster that looks like those.

those are most likely speedFX mufflers, which are every bit as good as a flowmaster, but are not a flowmaster. Also which dynomax did you get, because they now have a flowmaster clone as well.

 

I doubt that in one year a flowmaster will rot that bad also!

 

I thought the same thing. How would they have rotted like that in less than a year's time? Whether they are knock-offs or not (starting to look like they are), they still sounded every bit like the real flowmasters. I'm a little pissed that my buddy told me they were Flows and told me the whole story about FM letting their patent expire, etc, etc but oh well. I know they sounded good, even with the corrosion inside of 'em, so if someone wants cheap mufflers, they can get 'em here!


The Dynomax I got was a used set of stainless ultra flos off Corral. $70 shipped for the pair and they're MINT. Now I just have to get a hold of a nicely priced used catted X or H .... been on the hunt for 4 months now and 2 deals via Modular Depot and Corral forum classifieds fell through the cracks. One guy went to Australia and I never heard back from him, and the other guy sold it locally even though he told me we had a deal. Grrrrr. Now nobody has any for sale anymore
