FS.... CDC Shaker with Hood for 05-09
New Price. $500 firm or $350 with your hood.
I have decided to go a different route since I am getting a procharger. Bought this in spring. Mint condition. Includes the hood.
$800 or best offer. Shipping is roughly $225 depending on location.

you could keep the hood and use a functional hood scoop to keep the motor cooler and get some cool air in there for the procharger cai.did you know a one degree increase in the cai temp is like running another psi of boost to the motor!it may sell easier without the hood cause of reduced shipping,and the fact the purchaser may have to repaint the hood to match the rest of his or her car.not cheap.good luck

I would love to be able to do that but what scoop would cover the hole?

there are loads of em out there.you just need to know the size of the hole and get one to suit your needs that are to your liking.i'll try to post a pic of mine as an example.it is a boss 429 scoop.keep in mind it is not painted in these pics ,just the gelcoat on the scoop.it is painted now and the car is striped.

How wide is that? I would need something to cover 16" by 19".

it's getting painted now so i will measure it tomorrow.there are lots of different styles that will cover a hole 16x19.is it 16 wide and 19 long or vise versa?

Yeah 19 is the length but it also depends on the placement of the new scoop. They seem to sit further back than the shaker.

look on ebay there are lots of different styles out there.cowl induction,boss 429,shelby,ac cobra,gt350 style.check em out.i'm sure you can find something you like that will work.
